Cool Home on the Yarra River in Melbourne
A river tour is to show a floor that is integrated with wall wall into the ceiling, and ceiling that is open to the sky. Interior boasts wood ceiling, the warm and cool curved walls of concrete and plaster. This contemporary home design is the recipient of an Architecture Award for Interior Architecture Victorian Chapter Awards in 2009. Sun-soaked luxurious interior finished with marble and limestone, fully equipped with the cultivation of art, furniture and knick-knacks that beg to be held and admired. The most striking feature of this contemporary-style house is a statue of the central staircase, which connects the main floor to the top level. Collaboration between Australia and the contemporary architect Susi Leeton Leeton Pointon, this cool house on the Yarra River in Melbourne, Australia features an easy flow to see from walking through. Each point is naturally lit through the voids of two floors. Outside entertaining areas including a swimming pool and a lounge around the fireplace.
